Dead Confederate soldier, Devil's Den, July 6, 1863--Alexander Gardner photograph of a victim of the fire from Ward's Brigade near the edge of the G. W. Weikert filed. He was most likely a member of the 20th Georgia or the 1st Texas, killed in the attack on Smith's Battery.
